FAQ

1. Error code 16063. You have exceeded the Tally.NET user session limit.

2. User Does not Belong to Any Active Site.

Error code 16063. You have exceeded the Tally.NET user session limit.

Cause

Permitted number of remote users have already logged in.

Solution

Delete idle or unwanted sessions to allow new users to connect.

1. Go to Company Info menu or Gateway of Tally > Ctrl+K : Control Centre .

2. Enter admin Email ID & Tally.NET password.

3. Select Manage Data Sessions .

You can see the list of Active and Idle sessions:

4. Select the user/session to delete, and press Alt+D .

Now you can log in to the company through Remote Access.

User Does not Belong to Any Active Site.

Possible Causes

1. In a Multi site license wrong Site ID is selected for Remote User under Control Centre > User Management.

2. The license status is Pending for confirmation . You can verify this under Control Centre > Account Management > License Management > Status .

Solution for Case 1

Select Correct Site ID for Remote user under Control Centre > User management .

Solution for Case 2

Confirm the reactivation of Site license under Control Center > License Management through Account Administrator login .

No such host is found.

Cause

There is an internet connectivity issue either in the computer being used for remote access, or in the computer on which the company is connected.

Solution

1. On the remote computer, verify the internet connectivity by opening a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and visit any legitimate website.

2. If you are not able to open the site, disconnect your internet and reconnect.

a. Click the Start button, and select Control Panel .

b. In the Search box type adapter , and click View network connections under Network and Sharing Center .

c. Right-click the connection and click Disable .

d. Click Enable to connect to the Internet again.

If the issue still exists,

1. On the server computer where company is connected, verify the internet connectivity as explained above.

2. Retry remote login.

3. Also, in Tally.ERP 9 disconnect the company and reconnect.

4. Check if Tally.ERP 9 shows any error message while reconnecting, and resolve.

User Is Not Allowed To Unregister The Remote Company!

Cause

A company connected to Tally.NET is deleted, or the connect name is changed in F11: Features > F4: TSS Features before unregistering.

Solution

1. Create a company with the same name.

2. In Gateway of Tally , click F3 : Cmp Info. > Security Control > Users and Passwords . Enter the Tally.NET username and password.

3. Go to Types of Security (in F3 : Cmp Info. > Security Control menu) > Tally.NET User ,

Allow company to connect - Yes

Use Tally.NET Authentication - Yes

4. Connect the company. Ensure that the company is connected with the same account ID displayed in remote offline companies as shown below.

5. Login remotely with the same Tally.NET ID mentioned in the security control, the company will be displayed in online companies.

6. Disconnect the company and logout from the remote session. Company will be in offline mode.

7. Unregister the company and the company will get unregistered.

Error Code 16027 - Invalid Session while logging in as remote user

Cause

There is some issue with the connection.

Solution

1. On the server, disconnect the company and connect again.

2. If this connection attempt fails, update the Client/Server Configuration.

Go to Gateway of Tally > F12: Configure > Advanced Configuration .

o Connect to Tally.NET Server running on Non HTTP Port - Yes .

o Use absolute URL for HTTP Actions - Yes .

Accept the screen.

3. Connect the company using the F4: Connect button. You will be able to connect the company to Tally.NET server successfully.

Invalid Session

Cause

This error occurs when security control passwords are being configured by a remote user, and the session is disconnected. The remote session may be terminated either due to network disconnection, or the company being disconnected at the server.

Solution

Login again as a remote user, and set the security password.

Error 611 – Unknown Status

Cause

There is MAV issue on the server when accessing data remotely.

Solution

Fix the MAV issue in the server machine, i.e., from where the data is being accessed.

Login as Remote User again.

Stock item does not exist

Cause

There is extra space at the end of stock item name. This leads to the error when accepting the transactions in a remote access though the item is visible for selection in the transaction.

Solution

Alter the stock item, and remove the extra space. Then pass the transaction.

Connection to remote server is lost Or Invalid response

Cause

This error occurs on the client computer when the company on the server computer displays the message 'Memory Access Violation'.

Solution

Resolve the MAV issue in the server computer from where the data is being accessed.

Log in as Remote User again.
