1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT Form I > VAT Form I .

2. Click A : Annexures .

Annexure I

The total of purchases made during the return period with details pertaining to seller's name, TIN, Commodity Code tagged to the stock items invoiced, assessable value of purchase and input VAT paid are captured in Annexure I.

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT Form I > VAT Form I .

2. Click A : Annexures .

3. Select Annexure I and press Enter .

4. Press Ctrl+P to print.

5. Press Enter to print.

Column Name

Description

Sl. No.

Displays auto-generated serial number for each transaction.

Name of the seller

Displays the name of the dealer entered in the party ledger creation screen or in the Party Details screen of the invoice.

Seller's TIN

Displays the TIN number entered in the party ledger creation screen or in the Party Details screen of the invoice.

Commodity Code

Displays the Commodity Code predefined for the stock item selected in invoice.

Invoice/Delivery note no. and date

Displays the supplier invoice number and date entered in purchase invoice.

Purchase/Receipt Value (Rs.)

Displays the gross value of purchases made during the tax period.

Rate of Tax

Displays the input VAT rate charged on purchases.

VAT/CST paid (Rs.)

Displays the value of input VAT paid during the return period on the taxable purchases.

Category

Displays the category which was selected while invoicing purchases based on the VAT/Tax class selected.

Total

Displays the total value of purchase and VAT/CST paid.

Description

Details of Inter-State Purchases / Stock Transfer Inward during the month

Displays the month specified in the Print Report screen of Annexure I-A.

(1) Sl. No.

Displays the serial numbers of purchase transactions.

(2) Name of Seller/Transferor

Displays the name of sundry creditor.

(3) Address of the Selling Dealer/ Transferor

Displays the address provided in the party ledg er master.

(4) Seller's/Transferor’s TIN

Displays the VAT TIN provided in the party ledger master.

(5) Commodity Code

Displays the Commodity code predefined for the VAT Commodity selected in the stock items invoiced.

(6) Description of Goods

Displays the Commodity name predefined for the stock item selected while invoicing.

(7) Invoice/Delivery note no.

Displays the Supplier Invoice No. entered in interstate purchase invoice.

(8) Invoice/Delivery Note Date

Displays the supplier invoice date entered in interstate purchase invoice.

(9) Purchase Order No*

Displays the Purchase Order number entered in the Party Details screen of interstate purchases.

(10) Purchase Order Date*

Displays the Purchase Order date entered in the Party Details screen of interstate purchases.

(11) Purchase/Receipt Value (Net of Tax)

Displays the total assessable value of interstate purchases excluding the CST paid for the month.

(12) Rate of Tax

Displays the CST tax rate on interstate purchases.

(13) CST Paid

Displays the value of CST paid during the return period on the taxable interstate purchases.

(14) Total Purchase Value (10+12)

Displays the sum of assessable value of the interstate purchases and the CST paid for the same.

(15) Quantity or Weight**

Displays the quantity of Stock item recorded in the interstate purchase invoice.

(16) Unit**

Displays the -unit of measurement of stock items only for interstate purchases made against Form C. For all purchases made against Form F, the column is left blank and the unit code has to be entered manually.

(17) Name of the Transport Carrier from where goods were dispatched**

Displays the Despatch place details provided in the Party Details screen of interstate purchase invoice.

(18) No. and Date of Railway / Postal / Goods Receipt with trip sheet of lorry or any other document**

Displays the Bill of lading/LR-RR No. provided in the Party D etails screen o f the interstate purchase invoice.

(19) Date on which delivery was taken by transferee**

Displays the receipt note date provided in the Party D etails screen of the interstate purchase invoice.

(20) C ategory

Displays the Category as J or S.

J – Inter-State purchase against Form C

S – Stock receipts from Head Office / branches / principals outside the State

Annexure II

The total of sales made during the return period with details pertaining to buyer's name, TIN, Commodity Code tagged to the stock items invoiced, assessable value of sales and output VAT/CST collected are displayed in Annexure II .

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I > VAT Form I -1

2. Click A : Annexures .

3. Select Annexure II and press Enter .

4. Press Ctrl+P to print.

5. Enter the period in From and To fields in the Print Report screen, as shown below:.

6. Press Enter to print.

The column details of Annexure II are described below.

Displays the serial numbers of sales transactions.

(2) Name of the buyer

Displays the name of sundry debtor.

(3) Buyer's TIN

Displays the VAT TIN provided in the party ledger master.

(4) Commodity Code

Displays the Commodity code predefined for the stock item selected in the invoice.

(5) Invoice/Delivery note no. and date

Displays the sales voucher/invoice number (NOT the details entered in Ref field) and date.

(6) Sales value (Rs.)

Displays the net value of sales made during the tax period.

(7) Rate of Tax

Displays the output VAT rate charged on sales.

(8) VAT/CST paid (Rs.)

Displays the value of output VAT/CST paid on sales made during the return period.

(9) Category

Displays the category based on the nature of transaction selected while invoicing sales.

(10) Total

Displays the total value of sales and VAT/CST paid.

Annexure III

The value of input tax reversed for various nature of transactions is captured along with details pertaining to commodity code of stock items selected, purchase value, tax rate, VAT TIN of party ledger and input tax reversed.

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I > VAT Form I -1

2. Click A : Annexures .

3. Select Annexure III and press Enter .

4. Press Ctrl+P to print.

5. Enter the period in From and To fields in the Print Report screen, as shown below:.

6. Press Enter to print.

Nature of Transactions

Displays the predefined description of transactions.

Section/Rule relevant

Displays the section/rule relevant to the nature of transaction.

(1) Commodity Code

Displays the Commodity code predefined for the stock item selected in invoice.

(2) Value (Rs.)

Displays the assessable value of purchases entered for the input vat ledger while recording transactions for reversal of input credit.

(3) Rate of Tax

Displays the rate of tax selected for reversing the tax credit.

(4) TIN

Displays the VAT TIN of party ledger selected for recording the reversal entry.

(5) Reversal of Input tax Credit (Rs.)

Displays the amount of input VAT reversed based on the VAT adjustments selected in the journal voucher.

Annexure IV Input Tax and Exports

The value of entries made using the nature of transactions - Sales Zero Rated and Exports is captured in Annexure IV . The purchase details of the sales made is captured in respective columns of this Annexure.

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I > VAT Form I -1

2. Click A : Annexures .

3. Select Annexure IV Input Tax and press Enter .

4. Press Ctrl+P to print.

5. Enter the period in From and To fields in the Print Report screen, as shown below:.

6. Press Enter to print.

To view the Annexure IV Input Tax

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I > VAT Form I -1 .

2. Click A : Annexures .

3. Select Annexure IV Exports and press Enter .

4. Press Ctrl+P to print.

5. Enter the period in From and To fields in the Print Report screen, as shown below:.

6. Press Enter to save.

Description

Import Export Code

Displays the Import/Export Code entered in the Company VAT Details screen of Statutory & Taxation features.

INPUT TAX PAID

(1) Sl. No.

Displays the serial number of sales transactions.

(2) Seller's TIN

Displays the VAT TIN of sundry creditor from whom the goods were initially purchased for selling it as zero rated sales/exports.

(3) Description of Goods

Displays the name of VAT commodity of the stock item invoiced for zero rated sales.

(4) Commodity Code

Displays the Commodity code predefined for the stock item selected in the invoice.

(5) Purchase value (Rs.)

Displays the value of purchases entered in the Purchase Value column of Purchase Details screen for zero rated sales or exports.

(6) Rate of Tax

Displays the input VAT rate selected in the Rate of Tax column of Purchase Details screen for zero rated sales or exports.

(7) Input tax paid

Displays the input VAT amount entered in the Input VAT Paid column of Purchase Details screen for zero rated sales or exports.

(8) Eligible Credit (Rs)

Displays the input VAT eligible for being claimed as refund entered in the Eligible Credit column of Purchase Details screen for zero rated sales.

Export

(1) Sl. No

Displays the serial number of the sales transactions.

(2) Description of Goods

Displays the Commodity name predefined for the stock item selected in the invoice for exports.

(3) Commodity Code

Displays the Commodity code predefined for the stock items selected in invoice.

(4) Value (Rs.)

Displays the sale value of exports.

(5) Details of bill of lading / Air /  Road / Railway Bill No. and date

Displays the details entered in Bill of Lading / LR-RR No. and Date fields of Party Details screen while invoicing exports.

Annexure-V

The value of input tax carried forward in the month along with details pertaining to Commodity Code of stock items selected, purchase value, tax rate, and input tax carried forward.

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I > VAT Form I -1 .

2. Click A : Annexures .

3. Select Annexure V and press Enter .

4. Press Ctrl+P to print.

5. In the Print Report screen, enter the period in From and To fields.

6. Specify the Name and Status/Designation of the signatory to the Form, and the Place and Date

7. Press Enter to generate the print preview of Annexure V.

The explanation on Annexure V is given below:

Field Name

Description

Input Tax Credit at the end of the previous month (2)

Displays the opening balance of the input VAT as captured in Col (7).

Description of goods held as stock at the end of the month (3)

Displays the name of stock items that have closing balances.

Commodity Code (4)

Displays the Commodity code predefined for the stock item selected in the invoice.

Value (5)

Displays the purchase value of the closing stock.

Rate of Tax (6)

Displays the VAT rate as selected in the purchase transactions for the items captured in Col (3).

Input Tax Credit carried forward at the end of the month (7)

Displays the input VAT of closing stock. This is derived based on the VAT rate selected in the purchase transactions. This value is captured as opening balance in Col (2) for the subsequent return period.
