You can create classification for the tariff by using the Tariff/VAT Commodity option under Inventory Info. in Tally.ERP 9.
To create a tariff classification
1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Info. > Tariff/VAT Commodity > Create.
2. Enter the name of the tariff classification.
3. In the Used For option select Excise.
4. Enter other details as shown below:
5. Press Enter to accept.
