A sales ledger can be created in Tally.ERP 9 by grouping the ledger under Sales Account and entering the required VAT/Tax Class.
To create a sales ledger
1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Ledgers > Create
2. Enter the name of the sales ledger
3. Select Sales Accounts as the group name from the List of Groups
Enter other details as shown below:
4. Set the appropriate VAT/Tax Class.
The completed Ledger Creation screen appears as shown below:
5. Press Enter to accept.
