You can maintain damaged or scraped stock items details in Tally.ERP 9.
To maintain damaged/scrapped stock item details
1. Create a godown ( Scrap ) under Primary .
2. Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Vouchers > F7 : Stk Jrnl .
3. Under Source (Consumption)
o Select the damaged/scrapped item.
o Select Scrap in the column Godown .
o Enter Quantity and Rate for each stock item.
4. Press Ctrl+A to accept.
Note: In stock journal, maintain the Destination (Production) column blank.
To view damaged/scrapped stock item details
1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Stock Summary .
2. Click F9: Inv Rep .
3. Select Godown Summary .
4. Select Scrap (the godown created under Primary ).
The damaged/scrapped item details are displayed.
