E-mailing Pay Slip with Company Logo

You can e-mail pay slips with the company logo, by enabling the company logo feature.

To enable company logo

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > Accounting Features .

2. Set the Enable company logo feature to Yes in the Accounting Features screen.

3. Specify the Location of Logo in the Company Logo screen.

4. Press Enter to upload the company logo.

To e-mail a pay slip with the company logo

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Payroll Reports > Statements of Payroll > Pay Slip .

2. Select the required pay slip.

3. Press Alt+M to view the Mailing Pay Slip screen.

4. Select the required E-Mail Server from the list of Common Mail Servers . The Server Address field displays the SMTP server address and port number according to the E-Mail Server selected.

5. Set the option Use SSL to Yes .

6. Set the option Use SSL on Standard Port to No . The option is set to Yes only if Hotmail used as the e-mail server.

7. Modify From and From E-Mail Address , if required.

8. Enter the Authentication User Name and the Password , if required.

9. Select the required format from the list in the Format field.

10. Select the required size from the list in the Page Size field.

11. Select the required orientation in the Page Orientation field.

12. Enter the e-mail address of the intended recipient in the To E-Mail Address field.

13. Enter another e-mail address in the CC To (if any) field , if you want to send a copy of the same e-mail to more than one recipient.

14. Modify the Subject , as required.

15. Enter Additional Text (if any) , if required. This will precede the re`port in the recipientā€™s mail program.

16. Select the format in which the Information Sent can be viewed.

17. Set additional mailing configurations, as required.

18. Press Enter to e-mail the pay slip.

Note : When a mail is sent from Tally.ERP 9 in HTML format, logo will appear for direct viewing in open source web clients such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Outlook.Office 365. whereas the logo will not appear in case of native operating systems mail clients such as Outlook 2010 and 2013.
