Tally.NET user or Tally.NET auditor can access data remotely by providing the Tally.NET credentials in a licensed version of Tally.ERP 9 or in Educational Mode.
To login as a remote user
1. Select the option Login as Remote User i n the Company Info menu. The Remote Tally.NET User Login screen appears.
2. Enter your Tally.NET login ID and password.
3. Press Enter to save.
4. Select the required company from the List of Companies .
5. Press Enter to access the selected company data.
On successful authentication, a remote session is created in the Tally.NET server, which remains valid till the user logs out. A unique identification number is assigned to the remote session created. The remote user can access only one company data at a time. The remote access details are displayed in the Information panel.
