You can convert your Tally.ERP 9 rental license to a Tally.ERP 9 regular license on expiry of your rental license, or during the rental period, by paying for a regular license.
To convert your Tally.ERP 9 rental license to a regular license
1. Right-click tally.exe, and select Run as Administrator.
2. Click F12: Configure > Licensing > Convert to Regular License. The Convert to Regular License screen appears as shown below:
3. Click R: Use the regular license you have already purchased, if you have the Serial Number and Activation Key.
o Enter the Serial Number and Activation Key in the Convert to Regular License screen, as shown below:
o Press Enter to activate. A confirmation message appears once your rental license is converted to a regular license.
4. Click B: Buy a regular license now, if you want to buy a Tally.ERP 9 regular license.
5. Enter the billing details in the Convert to a Regular License screen.
6. Select the required Payment method from the List of Payment Methods. The following payment methods are available:
o Credit card/Debit card: You can select the credit card or debit card of your choice, and complete the payment procedure on the credit/debit card payment gateway.
o Net Banking: You can select the bank of your choice and complete the payment procedure on the net banking portal.
o Tally Currency: You can use your available Tally Currency to convert your rental license to regular license.
7. Select the Edition. The Convert to Regular License screen appears as shown below:
8. Press Enter to activate. A confirmation message appears once your rental license is converted to a regular license.
Your license is activated, and the license details are displayed in the Information Panel.
