Introduction to Tally.ERP 9 Licensing

You need to be buy a Tally.ERP 9 license to use all the features of the product.

Tally.ERP 9 provides the following licensing options to you:

 

Tally.ERP 9 provides two distinct product editions:

      Tally.ERP 9 Silver Edition (Single User): The Silver edition is a single-user license. Only one user can access the license at a time in a LAN environment. For another user to access the same license, all other instance(s) of Tally.ERP 9 currently using the license must be closed. 

      Tally.ERP 9 Gold Edition (Multi-User): The Gold edition is a multi-user license. Multiple users can access the license at a time in a LAN environment.

Troubleshooting

While loading Tally.ERP 9 Silver license in another system getting error message as “Silver License with serial number “77XXXXXX9” is in use on “system name.” Exit all instances of Tally.ERP 9 and try again  

Only one instance of Tally.ERP 9 prior to Release 5.0 can be accessed using the gateway server.

Compatibility Error!! Error code = 411

License is in use on Gateway - System Name: Port. Connect Gateway – System Name: Port or reconfigure license path on Gateway – System Name: Port and restart

Maximum RDP limit exceeded. Close one or more Tally.ERP 9 instance accessed using RDP and try again.

Connect Gateway Server to internet message is displayed in calculator panel

Connect gateway server to internet. License is Inactive

Online content Error

To complete this action internet connectivity is required. Connect to internet and try again
