Profit and Loss Statement (MCA Reports)

The Statement of Profit and Loss as per the Revised Schedule VI introduced by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs is available in Tally.ERP 9.

On the basis of the mapping of ledgers done to MCA Taxonomy Elements, the Profit and Loss Account in Tally.ERP 9 provides true representation of a Company's profitability for a given period of time.

To view Profit & Loss Account,

Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > MCA Reports(2012) > Profit & Loss A/c

In Foot Note screen enter the information to be disclosed.

Press Enter to save the Foot Note.

Foot Note can also be entered for a taxonomy element from Element Summary (taxonomy drill down report) report also.  In this report, F: Foot Note (Alt+F) button is provided to enter or edit the foot not details

The foot note disclosed for taxonomy will be captured in Instance Document.

Note: The Foot Note entered can be edited at any point of time. To navigate to foot note screen follow the same procedure explained above. The Foot Note screen displays the details entered. Make the correction and save.
