Quick Setup is a new feature being introduced with Tally.ERP 9. It is a Single Window Features or Masters Configuration Screen.
Quick Setup tool guides the users to configure feature or masters required for the effective use of a particular module.
It is a single screen tool to configure all types of masters (Tally.NET users/accounts/inventory/voucher types) required for different modules.
It is a Module Specific Configuration screen. E.g. If the user selects the Quick setup for Taxation Module – TDS. Quick Setup guides the user to configure only those Masters which are applicable for TDS. To configure masters for other taxation modules user has to select the appropriate taxation setup.
Quick setup allows the users to make required basic configurations to the masters to account statutory transactions. It also allows making advance configurations wherever applicable.
To view Quick Setup menu
Go to Gateway of Tally > Quick Setup
