To create a company,
Go to Gateway of Tally > Alt + F3 > Create Company
Enter the basic information, i.e., Name, Mailing Name and Address of the company, for e.g., ABC Company and other relevant details.
Select Bangladesh from the List of Countries in the Statutory compliance for field.
Enter the Telephone number
Specify the E-mail details.
The Currency Symbol for Bangladesh will be displayed as Taka by default.
In the Maintain field, select Accounts Only or Accounts with Inventory as per the company requirements.
In the Financial Year from and Books beginning from fields, the first day of the current financial year for e.g., 1-4-2012 will be displayed by default, which can be changed as per requirement.
Set Enable Auto Backup to Yes/No as per requirement.
Enter the TallyVault Password if required.
Set Use Security Control field to Yes if required.
Press Y or Enter to accept and save.
Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features
Select F3: Statutory & Taxation.
Set Enable Value Added Tax (VAT) to Yes.
Enter the 11 digit VAT Registration Number allotted by the Department.
Enter the date in the VAT Applicable From field.
Enter the Activity Code.
Enter the Area Code
Press Y or Enter to accept and save the screen.
