To create a Sales ledger for zero rated goods:
Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Ledgers > Create
Enter the Name of the ledger.
Select Sales Accounts as the group name in the Under field
Set Inventory values are affected to Yes
Set the option Used In VAT Returns to Yes. The VAT/Tax Class sub screen is displayed.
Select the VAT/Tax classification – Sales – Zero Rated from the list of VAT/Tax Class.
Press Enter to return to the Zero rated sales Ledger creation screen
Accept the sales ledger.
