Form RG 23D

 

Form RG 23D details the Excise Purchases and the corresponding Sales transactions.

To view Form RG 23D

Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > Excise Reports > Dealer > Form RG 23D

Form RG 23 D report can be viewed for All Items, for One Item or Sales Bill Wise

RG 23D - All Items

1. Select All Items to view Form RG 23D for All Items

  • Select ABC Company from the List of Excise Units in Name of Excise Unit field

RG 23D - One Item

Select One Item to view Form RG 23D for One Item

  • Select ABC Company from the List of Excise Units in Name of Excise Unit field

  • In Name of Tariff field select the tariff classification - Coils

  • Select Hot Rolled Coils in Name of Item field

Form RG 23D report appears as shown

  1. Invoice / Bill of Entry Number with Date: The Purchase Invoice number (incase of Domestic Purchase) or Bill of Entry Number ( in case of Imports) and the date are displayed in this field.

  2. RG 23D No.: RG 23 Entry No is displayed in this field. This number represents the display of particular transaction in the relevant page of RG 23 D Register.

  3. Name and Address of Manufacturer/ Importer including Central Excise Regn No/ Range/ Division/ Commissionerate: The Manufacturer/ Importer details entered in the Party details sub form of the Purchase voucher is printed in this field.

  4. Quantity: The quantity of items purchased is printed in this field.

  5. Rate: The rate of the Stock Item purchased is printed in this field.

  6. Assessable Value: The Assessable Value of the Stock Items is printed in this field.

  7. Basic Excise Duty: The Excise Duty calculated on the Assessable Value is printed in this field.

  8. Education Cess: The total Education Cess paid is printed in this field.

  9. Secondary Education Cess: The total amount of Secondary and Higher Education Cess paid is printed in this field.

  10. Excise Duty per Unit: The Excise Duty paid per unit is printed in this field

  11. Total Excise Duty: The Total Duty paid is printed in this field.

Duty Passed on

This row lists the Excise duty passed on to the corresponding Excise Sales.

Press Alt+P from the above report, the report printing screen appears

Press Enter to view the Print Preview of Form RG 23D

RG 23D - Sales Bill Wise

Select Sales Bill Wise to view Sales Bill wise Form RG 23D report. This report displays the details of sales transactions based on the period selected to view the report.

  • Select ABC Company from the List of Excise Units in Name of Excise Unit field

  • In Name of Tariff field select the tariff classification - Coils

  • Select Hot Rolled Coils in Name of Item field

Receipt Section

Issue Section

Observe, on Issue side report displays the sales made in the month of April 2010 against the purchase of April 2010. (i.e. the period selected to view the report)
