To create a Stock Item,
Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Info > Stock Items > Create
Enter the name in the Name Field
In the Under field, select the group from the List of Groups
Select the Units
In the Tariff Code No. field, use Alt+C key combination to create a Tariff Classification and enter the Name of Tariff Classification. The Tariff Classification created will be displayed in the Tariff Code No. field
Enter the Rate of Sales Tax
Note: It is mandatory to specify the Rate of Sales Tax in the above screen
Press Y or Enter to accept the screen.
