• Date format exported to e-CST templates of Gujarat VAT was not as per the template, resolved: While exporting information to Sales Details and Purchase Details in e-CST annexures, the date was posted in dd-mm-yy format, and not in dd/mm/yyyy or dd-mon-yyyy format as per the template.

  Now, the date is posted as per the format defined in the e-CST annexure template.

• Form 201 was not displaying values from journal voucher recorded to reverse tax credit for unqualified purchases, resolved: The column 02.4 Purchases not qualifying for tax credit as per section 11(8) read with section11(5) in Form 201 was not displaying values from journal voucher recorded by selecting Reversal of Input Tax as Nature of Adjustment and Purchases Not Qualifying for Tax Credit as Additional Details.

  Now, value from journal voucher recorded with the flag Purchases Not Qualifying for Tax Credit is exported in Form 201.

• A provision is made to print sales transaction in Form 402 format in Gujarat VAT: The option Print as VAT 402 is provided in the Voucher Printing screen of sales transaction to print Form 402 for the transaction.

• A provision is made to support the latest e-VAT Form 201 format for e-filing: The latest changes to the format of e-VAT Form 201 are now supported, and the form is directly exported for e-filing from Tally.ERP 9.

• A provision is made to support the latest formats for Form 201A, Form 201B, and Form 201C: Form 201A, Form 201B, and Form 201C are now generated in the new formats directly from Tally.ERP 9.

• e-VAT Form 201 was displaying VAT amount with decimals even though the ledger was configured for rounding off, resolved: VAT amount was being displayed with decimals after exporting data to e-VAT Form 201 even though the VAT duty ledger was configured for rounding off. This occurred when a sales transaction was recorded with items with multiple tax rate, of which one was ineligible for additional tax. This behaviour was observed in Annexure 201A and Annexure 201B as well.

  Now, value of duty ledger is rounded off in e-VAT form even when item ineligible for additional tax is selected in a tax invoice along with items of other rates.

• e-VAT Form 201 was displaying incorrect values for purchase turnover of capital goods, resolved: On exporting information to e-VAT Form 201, the values in Turnover of Purchase and Additional Tax columns in the sheet Part III were doubled for capital goods purchase transaction.

  Now, turnover and additional tax on capital goods purchase is exported accurately to e-VAT Form 201 in Gujarat VAT.

• VAT Form 402 was displaying wrong field names, resolved: VAT Form 402 printed for a sales transaction was displaying the field names For Co. Name and Authorise Signatory instead of Signature and Designation under (10) Name and address of person in charge of goods.

  Now, the field names Signature and Designation are printed and values are fetched from details entered in Voucher Printing screen while printing VAT Form 402.

• Voucher Printing screen was displaying the date of last voucher while printing Form 402, resolved: The Date field displayed in Voucher Printing screen of sales transaction after enabling Print as VAT 402, was prefilled with date of the previous sales transaction.

  Now, on enabling the option Print as VAT 402, the Date field that appears is prefilled with current voucher date.

• Annexure 201A was displaying value of goods based on the rate entered in the transaction, and not on MRP, resolved: Goods value for an item with Calculate VAT on MRP? set to Yes was being displayed based on item rate recorded in the transaction, and not on MRP from the item master in Annexure 201A. Further, similar calculation was  observed in Annexure 201B as well.

  Now, value of goods with Calculate VAT on MRP enabled is displayed based on MRP in Annexure 201A and 201B.

• Annexure 201A was not considering expense/income ledger amount from sales recorded in voucher for assessable value calculation, resolved: When a sales was recorded in voucher mode, with expense/income ledger created by selecting the option VAT for Include in assessable value calculation for field, e-VAT Annexure 201A was not considering the amount of such ledger for assessable value calculation. However, the same was being considered in physical form of Annexure 201A.

  Now, amount of ledgers included for assessable value calculation from sales in voucher mode is considered in assessable value while generation e-VAT Annexure 201A.

• VAT Form 402 was not displaying Description of Goods in Remote Client, resolved: When VAT Form 402 is printed in Remote Client by enabling Print as VAT 402?, Description of Goods details were not appearing under 6. Consignee’s details section in the form.

  Now, Description of Goods details in Form 402 is displayed in Remote Client.

• e-VAT Form 201 was displaying wrong value for Additional Tax on output, resolved: When same item is selected multiple times in a sales transaction, Additional Tax was being calculated on the item based on quantity in the first line, and not on subsequently selected quantity in e-VAT Form 201.

  Now, e-VAT Form 201 is considering items selected multiple items in a same invoice for Additional Tax calculation.

• VAT payment challan in VAT was not displaying interest amount separately, resolved: When a payment transaction was recorded for interest payable on VAT using Stat Payment option, the printout of payment challan was not displaying the interest amount in separate column, and it was included in tax amount.

  Now, payment challan printout displays the bifurcation of interest and tax amount.

• Accounting sales invoice was calculating VAT incorrectly for works contract when service tax was involved, resolved: When a works contract sales transaction involving service tax is recorded in accounting invoice mode, the VAT amount was being calculated incorrectly.

  Now, VAT is calculated accurately while processing service tax and works contract in accounting invoice mode.

• A provision is made to print VAT Form 402 commodity code wise: Now, VAT Form 402 can be printed using the commodity code assigned to the items in the masters.

• VAT Form 402 was not displaying details of goods invoice no. in case of excise invoice, resolved: When VAT Form 402 was printed by enabling the option Print as VAT 402? from Voucher Printing screen of excise invoice of dealer company, the print out was not displaying any value in the (3) Details of goods invoice No. field.

  Now, details of goods invoice number are displayed in VAT Form 402 printed from a excise invoice.

• Appendix II were displaying value of CST duty ledger in decimals despite rounding off, resolved: The value of CST duty ledger appeared rounded off in an interstate sales against Form C transaction but the same was displayed with decimals in Appendix II. This occurred  even after configuring for rounding off in duty ledger master.

  Now, value of duty ledger configured for rounding off is not displayed with decimals in Appendix II.

• VAT Form 201 was displaying value from journal voucher recorded for reversal of tax as Total Turnover, resolved: The value of journal voucher recorded by selecting the adjustment option Reversal of Input Tax and Purchases Not Qualifying for Tax Credit as Additional Details was being displayed as Total Turnover in VAT Form 201.

  Now, value from purchase and sales is considered for Total Turnover, and same is displayed in VAT Form 201.

• A provision is made to print multiple mailing address in Form VAT 402: While printing Form VAT 402, the address type to be printed in the form can now be set in Company Address to Print field using T:Titling option.

  This will be useful to print same address in Rule 11 Invoice and Form VAT 402, by creating addresses for excise units and selecting the corresponding address while printing the form based on excise unit selected in the transaction.

• An error message was being displayed while exporting e-CST Form 3B in systems using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 operating system, resolved: While exporting e-CST Form 3B to excel template the error message ERROR IN TDL TDL part JJI e-CST details insufficient height to allocate was being displayed. This was occurring when operating systems Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 were installed in C drive of the computer.

  While exporting e-CST Form 3B in Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 operating systems, an error message does not appear.

• Net Taxable Value and Total columns  were not displaying values in Form No. 8, resolved: When a sales transaction was passed for a taxable item and an item exempted from tax, the columns Net Taxable Value and Total did not display values for the item exempted from tax in Form No. 8 print.

  Now, Net Taxable Value and Total column displays value for an item exempted from tax in Form No. 8.
