The Stock Summary is one of the primary inventory statements generated in Tally.ERP 9. It is a statement of the stock-in-hand on a particular date, and it updates the stock record real time. Stock Summary provides information on stock groups, and shows the quantity details, rate, and closing value of the stock items under each group.
You can drill down into the Stock Summary, and configure it the required details.
To view Stock Summary
Go to Gateway of Tally > Stock Summary
By default, Stock Group balances are displayed.
Select Detailed to view the detailed stock summary.
The Stock Summary in Condensed mode appears as shown below:
The stock groups display total quantities of all the stock items added. The Grand Total displays the total value of the stock items. In case there are more than one units of measure, the Grand Total is not displayed.
