To view VAT Form I Annexures

  1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT Form I > VAT Form I.

  1. Select Annexure Ready and press Enter

Annexure I

The total of purchases made during the return period with details pertaining to seller's name, TIN, Commodity Code tagged to the stock items invoiced, assessable value of purchase and input VAT paid are captured in Annexure I.

To view the Annexure I

  1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT Form I > VAT Form I.

  2. Select Annexure Ready and press Enter.

  3. Select Annexure I and press Enter.

  4. Click P: Print Annexure.

Details of Purchases/receipts during the month

The period specified in the Print Report screen of Annexure I is displayed here.

1. Sl. No.

The purchase transactions are serially numbered and are displayed here.

2. Name of the seller

The name of sundry creditor is displayed here.

3. Seller's TIN

The VAT TIN provided in the party ledger master is displayed here.

4. Commodity Code

The commodity code entered in VAT Commodity master for the respective tagged to stock items invoiced is displayed here.

5. Invoice/Delivery note no. and date

The supplier invoice number and date entered in purchase invoice is displayed here.

6. Purchase/Receipt Value (Rs.)

The gross value of purchases made during the tax period is displayed here.

7. Rate of Tax

The input VAT rate charged on purchases is displayed here.

8. VAT/CST paid (Rs.)

The value of input VAT paid during the return period on the taxable purchases made is displayed here.

9. Category

Based on the VAT/Tax class selected while invoicing purchases, the category is captured against the transactions recorded.

Total

The total row capture the total value of purchase and VAT/CST paid.

Annexure I-A

To view the Annexure I-A

  1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I> VAT Form I -1

  2. Select Annexure Ready and press Enter.

  3. Select Annexure I and press Enter.

  4. Click P: Print Annexure.

Details of Inter-State Purchases / Stock Transfer Inward during the month

The month specified in the Print Report screen of Annexure I-A is displayed here.

1. Sl. No.

The purchase transactions are serially numbered and displayed here.

2. Name of Seller/Transferor

The name of sundry creditor is displayed here.

3. Address of the Selling Dealer/ Transferor

The address provided in the party ledger master is displayed here.

4. Seller's/Transferor’s TIN

The VAT TIN provided in the party ledger master is displayed here.

5. Commodity Code

The commodity code entered in VAT Commodity master tagged to stock items invoiced is displayed here.

6. Description of Goods

The name of VAT Commodity predefined for the stock item selected while invoicing gets displayed here.

7. Invoice/Delivery note no.

The supplier invoice number entered in interstate purchase invoice is displayed here.

8. Invoice/Delivery Note Date

The supplier invoice date entered in interstate purchase invoice is displayed here.

9. Purchase Order No*

The Purchase Order number entered in the Supplementary details screen of interstate purchases is displayed here.

10. Purchase Order Date*

The Purchase Order date entered in the Supplementary details screen of interstate purchases is displayed here.

11. Purchase/Receipt Value (Net of Tax)

The total assessable value of interstate purchases excluding the CST paid for the month is displayed here.

12. Rate of Tax

The CST tax rate on interstate purchases is displayed here.

13. CST Paid

The value of CST paid during the return period on the taxable interstate purchases made is displayed here.

14. Total Purchase Value (10+12)

The sum of the assessable value of the interstate purchases and the CST paid for the same is displayed here.

15. Quantity or Weight**

 The Quantity of Stock item recorded in the interstate purchase invoice is displayed here.

16. Unit**

The unit of measurement of stock items only for interstate purchases made against Form C is displayed here. For all purchases made against Form F, the column will be left blank and the unit code has to be entered manually.

17. Name of the Transport Carrier from where goods were dispatched**

The Despatch place details provided in the Supplementary details of interstate purchase invoice is displayed here.

18. No. and Date of Railway / Postal / Goods Receipt with trip sheet of lorry or any other document**

Bill of lading/LR-RR No. provided in the Supplementary details of the interstate purchase voucher and invoice mode is displayed here.

19. Date on which delivery was taken by transferee**

The receipt note date provided in the Supplementary details of the interstate purchase invoice is displayed here.

20. Category

The Category will be either J or S.

J – Inter-State purchase against Form C

S – Stock receipts from Head Office / branches / principals outside the State

Annexure II

The total of sales made during the return period with details pertaining to buyer's name, TIN, Commodity Code tagged to the stock items invoiced, assessable value of sales and output VAT/CST collected are displayed in Annexure II.

To view the Annexure II

  1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I> VAT Form I -1

  2. Select Annexure Ready and press Enter.

  3. Select Annexure II and press Enter.

  4. Click P: Print Annexure.

  5. In the Print Report screen, enter the period in From and To fields.

The sales voucher/invoice number (NOT the details entered in Ref field) and date is displayed here.

6. Sales value (Rs.)

The net value of sales made during the tax period is displayed here.

7. Rate of Tax

The output VAT rate charged on purchases is displayed here.

8. VAT/CST paid (Rs.)

The value of output VAT/CST paid during the return period on the sales made is displayed here.

9. Category

Based on the VAT/Tax class selected while invoicing sales, the category is captured against the transactions recorded.

Total

The total row capture the total value of sales and VAT/CST paid.

Annexure III

The value of input tax reversed for various nature of transactions is captured along with details pertaining to Commodity code of stock items selected, purchase value, tax rate, VAT TIN of party ledger and input tax reversed.

To view the Annexure III

  1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I> VAT Form I -1

  2. Select Annexure Ready and press Enter.

  3. Select Annexure III and press Enter.

  4. Click P: Print Annexure.

  5. In the Print Report screen, enter the period in From and To fields.

2. Value (Rs.)

Assessable value of purchases entered for the input vat ledger while recording transactions for reversal of input credit is displayed here.

3. Rate of Tax

The rate of tax selected for reversing the tax credit is displayed here.

4. TIN

The VAT TIN of party ledger selected for recording the reversal entry is displayed here.

5. Reversal of Input tax Credit (Rs.)

Based on the VAT adjustments selected in the Used for field of journal voucher, the input VAT reversed is displayed in the respective fields.

Annexure IV Input Tax and Exports

The value of entries made using the VAT/Tax class - Sales Zero Rated and Exports is captured in Annexure IV. The purchase details of the sales made is captured in respective columns of this Annexure.

To view the Annexure IV Input Tax

  1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I> VAT Form I -1

  2. Select Annexure Ready and press Enter.

  3. Select Annexure IV Input Tax and press Enter.

  4. Click P: Print Annexure.

  5. In the Print Report screen, enter the period in From and To fields.

To view the Annexure IV Input Tax

  1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I> VAT Form I -1.

  4. Click P: Print Annexure.

  5. In the Print Report screen, enter the period in From and To fields.

The Import/Export Code entered in the Company VAT Details screen of Statutory & Taxation features or Company VAT Details Setup screen of Quick Setup - Value Added Tax is displayed here.

INPUT TAX PAID

1. Sl. No.

The sales transactions are serially numbered and displayed here.

2. Seller's TIN

The VAT TIN of sundry creditor from whom the goods were initially purchased for selling it as zero rated sales/exports is displayed here.

3. Description of Goods

The name of VAT commodity of the stock item invoiced for zero rated sales is displayed here.

4. Commodity Code

The commodity code entered in VAT commodity master tagged to stock items invoiced is displayed here.

5. Purchase value (Rs.)

The value of purchases entered in the Purchase Value column of Purchase Details screen for zero rated sales or exports is displayed here.

6. Rate of Tax

The input VAT rate selected in the Rate of Tax column of Purchase Details screen for zero rated sales or exports is displayed here.

7. Input tax paid

The input VAT amount entered in the Input VAT Paid column of Purchase Details screen for zero rated sales or exports is displayed here.

8. Eligible Credit (Rs)

The input VAT eligible for being claimed as refund entered in the Eligible Credit column of Purchase Details screen for zero rated sales is displayed here.

Export

1. Sl. No

The sales transactions are serially numbered and are displayed here.

2. Description of Goods

The name of VAT commodity tagged to the stock item invoiced for exports is displayed here.

3. Commodity Code

The commodity code entered in VAT commodity master tagged to stock items invoiced is displayed here.

4. Value (Rs.)

The sale value of exports is displayed here.

5. Details of bill of lading / Air /  Road / Railway Bill No. and date

The details entered in Bill of Lading/LR-RR No. and Date fields of Party Details screen while invoicing exports is displayed here.

 

Annexure-V

The value of input tax carried forward in the month along with details pertaining to Commodity Code of stock items selected, purchase value, tax rate, and input tax carried forward.

To view the Annexure V

  1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > VAT > VAT Form I> VAT Form I -1.

  2. Select Annexure Ready and press Enter.

  3. Select Annexure V and press Enter.

  4. Click P: Print Annexure.

  5. In the Print Report screen, enter the period in From and To fields.

  6. Specify the Name and Status/Designation of the signatory to the Form, and the Place and Date

  7. Press Enter to generate the print preview of Annexure V

The explanation on Annexure V is given below:

Sl.No. (1)

The details captured in this Form are numbered, and the serial number of each row is displayed in this column.

Input Tax Credit at the end of the previous month (2)

The opening balance of the input VAT as captured in Col (7) is displayed here.

Description of goods held as stock at the end of the month (3)

The name of stock items that have closing balances is displayed here.

Commodity Code (4)

The commodity code provided in the stock item master for each stock item is displayed here.

Value (5)

The purchase value of the closing stock need to be displayed here.

Rate of Tax (6)

The VAT rate as selected in the purchase transactions for the items captured in Col (3) is displayed here.

Input Tax Credit carried forward at the end of the month (7)

The input VAT of closing stock is displayed here. This will be derived based on the VAT rate selected in the purchase transactions. This value will be captured as opening balance in Col (2) for the subsequent return period.
