Reset Password

The reset password option allows users to set a new password, if the old password is lost. On receiving a request from the user to reset the password, an e-mail containing a link to reset is sent to the account administrator or site administrator.

To reset the password

  1. Click F5: Reset Pwd from any one of the following screens.

  2. Remote Tally.NET User

  3. Support Centre

  4. Control Centre

  5. Surrender License

The Reset Password screen appears as shown below:

  1. Enter the e-mail ID of the account administrator or site administrator.

An e-mail containing the link to reset password is sent to the e-mail ID of the Account Administrator or Site Administrator.

  1. Click the link in the e-mail.

The Change My Password web page appears as shown below:

  1. Enter the password in New Password field, and in Repeat field to confirm.

  1. Click Save.

Note: When the user logs in to Control Centre, Support Centre, Update License and Surrender License for the first time after creating the account, Change My Password screen is displayed. To know more on how to change the password, see Change My Password.
