The Tax Rate Setup tool is used after migration of data from releases prior to 5.0 to Tally.ERP 9 release 5.1.
● This tool is displayed only when the data is from a release prior to 5.0, is migrated to release 5.1.
● This tool is not displayed when data (or a company) is created directly in release 5.0 and above.
● This tool is not displayed for data (or company) with VAT or excise disabled, or with accounts-only information.
● This tool can be used to set excise tariff rates from the Excise Tariff Setup screen, and VAT rates from the VAT Rate Setup screen.
This tool helps to configure tax rates and excise tariffs of existing items in release 5.1. If there are multiple stock items, this tool makes it very easy to configure rates and tariffs for all of them from one screen.
Note: Even if a data was migrated from release 4.93 to release 5.0 and new configurations were done in Release 5.0, this report will be available on updating to Release 5.1.
