Authorising Tally.NET Users

To assign a security level to a Tally.NET User, the system administrator should execute the following steps:

Go to Gateway of Tally > Alt+F3 > Security Control > Users and Passwords

In the List of User for Company screen,

  • In the Security Level field, select Tally.NET User from the Security List.

  • Type Tally.NET User in Name of User field.

  • By default, the Password (if any) field is blank and cannot be provided for Tally.NET User.

  • Allow Remote Access is set to Yes if the Tally.NET User requires to access remotely.

  • Allow Local TDL is set to No, if the user does not want the additional TDL’s to be executed remotely for the selected remote user.

  • Type the required mobile number in Mobile Number field.

  1. Accept to save the security level assigned to Tally.NET User
