Multiple service categories can be created if the option Activate user defined categories is enabled.
To create a Service Category
Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Statutory Info. > Service Categories > Create
Enter a Name of the service category.
Enter the rate of Service tax.
Enter the rate of Education cess.
Enter the rate of Secondary education cess.
Press Enter.
The Service Category Creation screen appears as shown below:
Press Enter to accept.
