Now, special characters are accepted in the name of the installation folder. Licensing operations can be performed from Tally.ERP 9 application and Admin tool. All components are getting installed even if the folder name contained special characters.
License was not being shared with client machines when a drive was inactive in the server machine, resolved: When the hard disk of the machine with license server was set as in-active, the client machines were unable to access the license, and turn to educational mode. Further, account TDLs if present, were not being shared with the client machines.
The error message FUNCTION: 'UpdateBankingVouchers' LABEL: 1160 : Proper Pay Link's Transaction type not given for 'Kotak Bank'! is displayed in the calculator panel. This occurred when migrating date contained POS transactions. This issue has been resolved to display appropriate message while migrating data that requires attention.
The scheduled installation option allows you to install latest releases automatically at a defined time. Tally.ERP 9 should not allow any installation activities after installation was setup using Schedule your installation option. However, the application was allowing install of release or stat manually after the last scheduled installation reminder message, which is displayed 30 minutes before the scheduled installation time.
Live Update process should not be allowed when Tally.ERP 9 is in Educational Mode. Therefore the message displayed on clicking Install Latest button was providing incorrect information. The message has been changed to inform the user that Live Update is not allowed in educational mode.
The issue of Tally.ERP 9 in Educational mode, when it is not Run as administrator in some specific systems, fixed: When license is activated (connected to license server in case of multi-user), Tally.ERP 9 is in Licensed mode and not in Educational mode, even when the application is not Run as administrator.
Error message when changing from Silver to Gold edition, resolved: When changing the edition of License using the Change Product Edition option in the Licensing menu of General F12 Configurations, a blank message appeared. This has been resolved.
Application was crashing when the report screen was being resized, resolved: The application was crashing with an error message “Could not fit on screen! Too small to be used!” when the report was being viewed in the automatic half resize feature of windows screen. Now the report can be resized for viewing.
Now, copying of voucher is allowed between companies even when one company is created as branch in the other.
