To configure the system as client or server for synchronisation
Go to Gateway of Tally > F12: Configure > Advanced Configuration.
The Advanced Configuration screen appears as shown below:
Configure your system as client or server, or both, using the option Tally.ERP9 Β is acting as.
Set the option Enable ODBC server? to Yes for ODBC connectivity.
Specify the required port number (for example: 9000) in the Port field.
