Tally.NET User or Tally.NET Auditor can remotely access data by providing the remote user Login ID and Password in a licensed version of Tally.ERP 9 or in Educational mode.
To login as remote user
1. Select the option Login as Remote User in the Company Info. menu.
2. In the Remote Tally.NET User Login screen,
o Enter the required Tally.NET login ID in the Your E-Mail ID field.
o Enter the required password in the Your Tally.NET Password field.
3. Select the required company from the List of Companies in the List of Remote Companies screen.
On successful authentication, a remote session is created on the Tally.NET Server, which remains valid till the user logs out. A unique identification number is assigned to the remote session created. The remote user can work on one company at a time and the remote access details are displayed in the information panel.
