You can exchange your bulk data without exporting or importing. This exchange is initiated at the client. During the snapshot exchange, the point of last exchange is identified, and exchange of the data occurs. It is essential to create the client rule, and activate it on the server prior to commencing the exchange snapshot online.
To exchange snapshot online
1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Import of Data > Synchronisation > Exchange Snapshot Online. The Exchange Snapshot for Selected Rule screen appears as shown below:
2. Select the required rule from the List of Rules and press Enter.
On exchange of data between the client and the server, a message is displayed in the client's Calculator panel.
