How to Synchronise Data

You can synchronise data on-demand or online using:

  • Tally.NET Server or

  • Private Network (IP address)

A valid TSS is required to synchronise data using Tally.NET Server, for both online and on-demand options.

 

Steps to synchronise data

To synchronise data

  1. Configure Server and Client Companies.

  2. Configure TSS feature on the Server Company and Client Company.

  3. Connect Server Company to Tally.NET Server.

  4. Create Sync Rule on Client Company.

  5. Send the rule by synchronising to the Server Company.

  6. Activate Sync Rule on Server Company.

  7. Synchronise Data

Note: To synchronise using private network, use your static IP address, and port number details on which Tally.ERP 9 is running.
