Migrating TCP Files

To migrate TCP files from Tally 7.2 to Tally.ERP 9

  1. Click Migrate TCP from Tally.ERP 9 Data Migration screen.

A confirmation message Migrate TCP(s)? Yes or No is displayed.

  1. Select Yes to continue with the migration of TCP Files.

  1. On migrating the TCP file from Tally 7.2 to Tally.ERP 9, a congratulatory message is displayed as shown below:

  1. Press Enter to continue.

Post Migration Observations for the TCP Files

  • The migrated TCP file is saved in the same folder as Tally 7.2 TCP file.

  • The migrated TCP filename is suffixed with the digit 9 as shown, and appears in the same in the Tally.ini:
