Using Reference Dictionary

Single word strings, that have been translated, are used to compile a Reference Dictionary . A Reference Dictionary is a useful reference material for the translator, who can use it for translation activities in the future.

Bring up Reference Dictionary

To open a Reference Dictionary from a working dictionary

Go to File > Open Reference Dictionary .

The Reference Dictionary screen appears as shown below:

By default, the Dictionary Manager tool creates a file with language name, and extension .DCR. The file <language name>.dcr is available in the Ref folder.

For example, if the language is Sanskrit, Dictionary Manager tool will create the file Sankrit.dcr.
