The Auditors’ Edition includes Statutory Audit and Statutory Compliance capabilities as default features without any dependency on TSS for authentication to perform Audit or Compliance services on Local data. The Auditor can open Auditors’ Edition of Tally.ERP 9 and access his client's data available locally and start Audit using Audit & Compliance features.
To use Audit & Compliance features locally
1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Company Info > Select Company.
2. Select the company to be audited from the List of Companies.
o Press Enter to load the selected company.
o Enter the Client’s Username and Password.
o Press Enter to load the company.
The Gateway of Tally screen with the Audit & Compliance options appears as shown below:
3. Click Audit & Compliance.
4. Select from the following Statutory Audit menu options:
Note: If Security Control has not been enabled for the Company, the Company Alteration - Enable Security screen will be displayed upon selecting the Audit & Compliance menu:
Name of Administrator and Password has to be specified to enable security for the company.
