Record Sale of Fixed Assets in TallyPrime
When a fixed asset reaches the end of its useful life, you can scrap or sell it after recording the applicable depreciation. In TallyPrime, you can record the depreciation and sale of fixed assets. If the sale price is higher than the asset’s book value, the difference is recorded as a profit. If the sale price is lower than the book value, the difference is recorded as a loss.

This ensures that the actual value of the fixed asset is reflected in the Balance Sheet.
