1. Tally.Server Monitor
● Fields and screens named Tally.Server are renamed as Tally.Server 9 and those named Tally.ERP are renamed as Tally.ERP 9.
● Option to create and maintain multiple backup schedules on specific dates and also on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, is provided. Option to enter last date is provided in monthly schedule.
2. Installation
● Details of Release, Build number and nativity are displayed in installation wizard of Tally.Server 9.
1. Tally.Server
● When the data on a shared endpoint was selected for restoring, the message Unable to access ‘<endpoint>’! was being displayed.
This issue has been resolved.
● When certain companies were accessed using Tally.Server 9, the message Data files damaged! Need to re-write was displayed.
This issue has been resolved.
● Data end points with names that consisted of more than 64 characters were not being listed for selection in Tally.ERP 9.
This issue has been resolved.
Note : Release 4.8 onwards, the number of characters that can be used for providing data end point names is restricted to a maximum of 64.
