Connected Banking – FAQ

Connected Banking makes your banking tasks easier by integrating your bank with TallyPrime. A secure login in TallyPrime establishes real-time connectivity with the bank. You can then access your banking data right from TallyPrime. Using Connected Banking in TallyPrime, you can view live bank balance and get bank statements instantly in TallyPrime. With TallyPrime directly connected to the bank, banking tasks required little human intervention, which leaves no scope for human errors.

Connected Banking in TallyPrime is available for Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank customers. To know more, refer to: 

Prerequisites for Using Connected Banking

  1. TallyPrime license and Release 6.0.
  2. Valid Tally Software Subscription (TSS).
    To know how to view the validity of your TSS or renew it, refer to Renew TSS.
  3. Tally.NET ID, which is the registered e-mail address under your license.
  4. Valid 10-digit mobile number to link with your Tally.NET ID and receive OTP.
  5. An internet connection with a recommended speed of 3-5 Mbps that aids better connectivity.

Setup for Connected Banking

After setting it up, you can log in to Connected Banking with your Tally.NET ID and password at any point in time. You can do so if your session has expired or inactive.

When you do not want to use the Connected Banking features, you can log out.

Tally.NET account administrator (admin) and non-admin users can use Connected Banking. A non-admin user requires an approval from admin to access Connected Banking.

Get Bank Statement and Bank Balance

Once logged in to Connected Banking, you can save a great deal of time of by doing the following in a matter of clicks:
