Coming Soon – Authorised User Access to Docs by Ira with Tally.NET Login

As an admin, you would want only authorised user to access Dos by Ira in TallyPrime. Docs by Ira will soon require a login with Tally.NET ID and password, thereby ensuring that only the users for who you can enable Docs by Ira can use the facility to import documents for voucher creation.

Tally.NET ID is an e-mail address that is required to access TallyPrime features, especially online services.

Your Tally.NET ID is linked to your active TallyPrime license.

To know your Tally.NET ID:

• In TallyPrime, press F1 (Help) > Settings > License > Manage License.
  

If you have forgotten your Tally.NET password, then you can:

• Reset Tally.NET password in TallyPrime.

• Reset Tally.NET password on the Tally Solutions portal.

If you don’t have a Tally.NET ID for specific users in your organisation, then you can easily create Tally.NET IDs for them.

1. Go to Tally portal.

2. Log in using your account administrator’s e-mail address.

3. Click Control Centre > User Management > Manage Users.
   

4. In the Manage Users screen, click CREATE USER.
   

5. Create New User.

   1. In the Create New User section, select the required Security Level as Standard User or Owner.

   2. In the Tally.NET ID field, enter a valid e-mail ID.
      
      The password for the Tally.NET ID is sent to the email ID provided.

6. Enable any of the feature that you want the user to access.

7. Click CREATE.

1. Who can use Docs by Ira after this change?
   The users who have Tally.NET ID and password with Docs by Ira enabled can use the feature. The local users that don’t have a Tally.NET ID and password will not be able to use Docs by Ira.

2. How will I know which users can use Docs by Ira?
   A Manage Users report will be available on the Customer Portal. The Docs by Ira User Status column will show whether a Tally.NET ID has been enabled for Docs by Ira.
   Users with access will be shown as Active.

3. I don’t have access to the e-mail address that is used as Tally.NET ID. How do I proceed?
   If you can’t access the e-mail address used as Tally.NET, then write to Tally Support with details of the issue.
