Record Abbreviated Sales in Tally e-Billing
In Tally e-Billing, you can enable Abbreviated Sales in Company Configuration to issue abbreviated invoices for sales below NPR 5,000, with VAT calculated on an inclusive basis. For example, if you are selling a product for NPR 3,500, then the VAT will be calculated as part of this amount and not charged separately.
Ensure that:
- You have created the sales account, party account, and output VAT account.
- You have created the required stock items.
- You have enabled Abbreviated Sales in company Configuration.
In the sales voucher,
- Enable Issue as Abbreviated Invoice option for vouchers below NPR 5,000.
- Enter the necessary details and click Save Invoice.
After the transaction is recorded, you can see that the tax on such invoices is calculated as inclusive.
