  • Display your business identity while communicating with customers.
  • Use approved business communication templates.
  • Communicate through a verified business account.

Interakt provides the infrastructure required for:

  • WhatsApp onboarding

When adding a WhatsApp number in TallyPrime, users must sign in using their Interakt credentials.

Wallet-based Billing

WhatsApp business conversations are charged based on Interakt’s pricing model.

The associated wallet balance is used when business conversations take place. When the balance becomes low, the wallet must be recharged.

Business Verification for WhatsApp

Business verification is the process of confirming a business’s identity with Meta before it can fully use WhatsApp Business services.

Verification helps establish trust and supports compliant business communication.

Business verification helps:

  • Confirm that the business is legitimate.
  • Associate communications with a verified organization.
  • Support approval of business messaging services.
  • Improve trust in customer communications.

Verification Options

Before beginning verification:

  • Use the legal business name consistently.
  • Keep website information updated.
  • Maintain an active Facebook business page, if used.
  • Ensure business details across platforms are consistent.

GST Registration Certificate

Tally recommends GST-based verification because it generally provides a smooth onboarding experience.

Business Website

If a GST registration certificate is unavailable during onboarding, a business website may be used for verification.

Facebook Business Page

Businesses that do not have a website can use a Facebook Business Page as part of the verification process. The page should contain accurate and complete business information.

Business-initiated communications on WhatsApp use predefined message templates.

Before invoices and reports can be sent through TallyPrime, these templates must be approved by Meta.

Templates help:

  • Maintain messaging standards.
  • Prevent spam.
  • Ensure policy compliance.
  • Enable business communication through WhatsApp.

After onboarding:

  1. Templates are submitted to Meta.
  2. Meta reviews the templates.
  3. Approved templates become available for use.
  4. TallyPrime can begin sending invoices and reports.
