The About screen provides a consolidated view of your TallyPrime application, license status, connectivity, and system configuration. This information helps you verify your setup, diagnose issues, and share accurate details with support when required.
Product Information
- Application – The edition and name of the installed TallyPrime application.
- Release – The product version currently in use.
- Application Path – The folder where TallyPrime is installed.
- Other Installations – Number of other TallyPrime installations detected on the system.
License Information
- Serial Number – The unique license number linked to your license.
- Edition – Indicates whether your license is Rental or Perpetual.
- Rental Validity – The expiry date of the rental license (if applicable).
- Tally Virtual User Limit – The number of virtual users supported.
- License Administrator – The registered email ID of the license administrator.
- Tally Gateway Server – Details of the Gateway Server name and port in use.
TDL & Add‑On
- TDLs Configured – Number of TDLs loaded in the application.
- Tally Plug-ins – Plug-ins installed and active in the system.
Data Information
- Location of Company Data – The directory where company data is stored.
- Companies to Load on Startup – Number of companies configured to auto-load.
- Location of Company Backup – Path where backup files are stored.
- Migration Ports – Ports used for data migration between Tally and TallyPrime.
Connectivity and Tally Gateway Server
- Local Area Network (LAN) Connectivity – Indicates whether LAN connectivity is enabled.
- Connected to Tally Gateway Server – Current connection status with the Tally Gateway Server.
- Client/Server and ODBC Services – Server mode status and ODBC port details.
- Online Access Services – Status of access to Tally’s online services.
Tally Scheduler
- Status | Port – Displays whether the scheduler is running and the port in use.
Computer Information
- Computer Name – Name of the computer as per system settings.
- Operating System – Version of the installed operating system.
- Firewall and Antivirus – Status of security tools on the system.
- Hard Drive | Memory – Storage and memory configuration.
- Processor – Processor model and specifications.
- Display Resolution – Screen resolution currently in use.
