Print PF Form 12A in TallyPrime (Payroll)

PF Form 12A is a monthly report that provides details of PF payments made to the respective PF accounts of employees during the specified month.

• Gateway of Tally > Display More Reports > Payroll Reports > Statutory Reports > Provident Fund > Form 12A.
• Press C (Configure) for print configurations.
  • Specify the Period in the respective From and To fields.
  • Include VPF Account: Set this option to Yes to include any VPF contributions in A/c No. 1 for the respective month.
  • Select the required Employee Category, Employee/Group, Sorting Method, and Display name for Employees, and press Enter.
    
• Press I (Preview) or P (Print).
  

Column Details:

• Wages on which the Contributions are Payable: Displays the gross wages considered for calculating contributions towards EPF (A/c No. 01), Pension Fund (A/c No. 10), and EDLI (A/c No. 21).
• Amount of Contribution: This column is divided into two sections as described below:
  
  • Recovered from Employees: Displays the employee’s contribution towards EPF (A/c No. 01).
  • Payable by the Employer: Displays the employer’s contribution towards EPF (A/c No. 01), Pension Fund (A/c No. 10), and EDLI (A/c No. 21).
• Amount of Contribution Remitted: This column is divided into two sections as described below:
  
  • Employee’s Share: Displays the employee’s contribution remitted towards EPF (A/c No. 01).
  • Employer’s Share: Displays the employer’s contribution remitted towards EPF (A/c No. 01), Pension Fund (A/c No. 10), and EDLI (A/c No. 21).
• Amount of Administrative Charges due: Displays the administrative charges payable by the employer for maintaining A/c No. 01 and A/c No. 21.
• Amount of Administrative Charges remitted: Displays the administrative charges paid by the employer for maintaining A/c No. 01 and A/c No. 21.
• Date of Remittance (enclose triplicate copies of Challan): Displays the payment date as mentioned in the PF combined challan.
• Details of Subscribers: Displays information based on the Provident Fund details entered in the Employee Master.
