Renew Subscription and Recharge Wallet for Using WhatsApp in TallyPrime
The Renew Subscription process involves the monthly subscription fee charged by Tally for using TallyPrime with WhatsApp. When you take a subscription, the validity of the subscription is based on the expiry date of your Tally Software Services (TSS). If your TSS expires on 31st March 2023 and you are taking a WhatsApp subscription on 1st January 2023, your subscription will be valid for 3 months. In this case, you will need to renew your subscription for 3 months by paying Rs. 450 (Rs. 150 per month for India), excluding GST. For each month’s subscription, you will get Rs. 50 added to your existing wallet balance. Depending on the date of TSS expiry, the renewal charges and wallet balance will be calculated on a prorata basis. If you are renewing your subscription for one year, you will have to pay Rs. 1800 (excluding GST).
The Recharge Wallet process is essential for keeping your wallet balance sufficient so that, you can share your documents and messages uninterrupted. Meta charges a fee for every conversation. For example, if you purchase a top-up pack of Rs. 675 (excluding GST), you will get Rs. 500 added to your existing wallet balance. In the ‘Recharge Wallet’ process, you need to pay a one-time fee, irrespective of the validity period. However, the wallet amount will be carried forward when you renew the subscription again. If you feel that one-time wallet recharge will not be enough, you can buy multiple packs of wallet recharge in a single purchase.
In summary, ‘Renew Subscription’ enables you to use TallyPrime with WhatsApp, while ‘Recharge Wallet’ is used to cover the per-conversation cost to Meta.
