Release 6.2

TallyPrime Release 6.2 enables you to easily export or share your invoices in Arabic, English, or bilingual as PDFs through E-mail or WhatsApp. Tax Invoice Format 2 is made default considering the format recommended by the Tax Authority.

Printing Invoices in Tax Authority Prescribed Format

Release 6.1

TallyPrime 6.1 introduces IMS with full functionality of download, act, upload and Reset IMS along with GSTR-2B recomputation. Get a comprehensive Edit Log Summary, MSME form updates, smarter bank reconciliation, and offline GSTR-1 upload via Excel/CSV.

Release 6.0

Release 6.0 brings transformed Banking with enhanced reconciliation & connected experience. Data Split is smoother with robust verification. GST, TDS & VAT enhancements elevate your experience. For GCC, print bilingual invoices with or without VAT.

Connected Banking

  • Enhanced Bank Reconciliation: Save time and improve accuracy by automatically reconciling exact matches. You also get smart suggestions for potential matches to your book transactions.

  • Automated Accounting Using Bank Statements: Create vouchers using bank data in just a few clicks. This eliminates repetitive data entry and makes accounting easier.

  • Integrated Payments and Accounting: e-Payments now comes with a new and simplified report, which integrates accounting and reconciliation. This enables flexibility and better tracking of your e-Payments for more than 18 banks.

  • Connected Banking: Improve cash flow visibility and enable swift decisions with Connected Banking. Connect your bank accounts to TallyPrime with top-tier security, and access real-time bank statements and balances directly within TallyPrime.

Enhanced Data Split Process

  • The simplified split process enables you to create a single company, with an option to retain the traditional two-company split for compliance and business continuity. A new progress bar provides clear visibility of the split stages.
  • With the enhanced data verification process, TallyPrime handles errors in vouchers and masters seamlessly before initiating the split, ensuring accuracy and reducing issues.

User Profile

  • Enables you to view and update the contact details linked to your Tally Serial Number. Accurate contact information ensures you receive timely communications and updates.

Support for Latest Income Tax Slab – Finance Bill 25-26

As per Finance Bill 2025-26, TallyPrime now supports the latest income tax slab rates for employees opting for the new tax regime. Moreover, the Income Tax Computation report, Annexure II to Form 24Q, and Form 16 are also updated in TallyPrime, as per the following:

  • Rebate under section 87A for employees with income lesser than or equal to ₹12 lakhs

  • Marginal tax relief for employees with income exceeding ₹12 lakhs by ₹70,594 or less

Printing Invoices in English and Arabic

  • With TallyPrime, businesses in Kuwait and Qatar can now generate invoices in both English and Arabic on a single page, ensuring compliance with local regulations. If you are operating from any other GCC countries, apart from Kuwait and Qatar, you can continue printing invoices in English and Arabic, with or without VAT.

Breakup of B2B and B2C in HSN Summary

  • As per Phase III of HSN reporting for GSTR-1, TallyPrime now supports HSN Summary with a breakup of B2B & B2C supplies. These changes are effective from 1-Apr-2025.

Release 5.0

With a host of amazing features in TallyPrime 5.0, experience connected GST by directly uploading/downloading returns, automated TDS deduction as per section 194Q, sorting of bills by due dates, notification through bell icon, Stripe View, and more.

Connected GST

  • TallyPrime simplifies GST compliance with direct uploads, downloads, and effortless filing of returns like GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. It also enables real-time party validation, accurate ITC tracking, and insightful GST reports for better control and clarity.

B2B Invoices as per Notification No. 12/2024 – Central Tax

  • Easily maintain your B2CL transactions as per the latest Threshold Limit, which is reduced from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 1 lakh.

Automated Tax Calculation | TDS Section 194Q

  • TallyPrime enables seamless compliance with Section 194Q by automating TDS calculation on high-value purchases, managing exemptions, updating payment nature across parties, and integrating advance payments for accurate Form 26Q reporting.

Tally Plug-In Management

  • Get easy access to Tally Plug-Ins, such as TallyCapital, which will be available to customers of TallyCapital partners. Know about the plug-ins, check plug-in statuses, and more from the new Tally Plug-In Management report.

TallyPrime in Arabic

  • Seamlessly switch to Arabic in TallyPrime, work in Arabic or English simultaneously, and print invoices with amounts in words in Arabic.

TallyPrime in Bangla

  • Change language in TallyPrime to Bangla and allow multi-user environments to work in their preferred languages without interruptions.

  • Print your invoices and reports in Bangla by including language aliases during master creation. Additionally, now you can print amount in words in Bangla too.

Sorting of Pending Bills

  • Enables efficient payment management by allowing you to sort pending bills by due date or other fields, ensuring timely payments and reducing late fees or penalties.

Stripe View

  • TallyPrime introduces Stripe View designed to improve readability of entries in reports with large volume of data, by highlighting alternating rows.

  • Use Stripe View for all vouchers & reports, or for only specific ones. Use stripes while printing, exporting or sharing documents from TallyPrime.

Notification with Bell Icon

  • The new Bell icon and Notifications report keep you informed about critical tasks like TSS renewals, license management, upgrades, and GST activities in one place.

  • Take actions directly from the Notifications report and configure when the red dot appears on the Bell icon for timely attention.

Release 4.0

TallyPrime 4.0 comes with a graphical Dashboard that provides visual insights & trends in your financial data. Also, now import data from Excel into TallyPrime seamlessly. Use the integrated WhatsApp for business for instant sharing of invoices/reports.

  • Experience the power of instant communication via WhatsApp for Business. You can now send documents, like invoices and reports, directly from TallyPrime to one or more parties or stakeholders in a single click.

TallyPrime Release 3.0.1 introduces improvements to e-Invoicing and GST return filing. It enables easier correction of e-Invoice details, smoother generation of e-Invoices in various scenarios, and enhanced GSTR-3B JSON export for a better GST filing experience.

Party GSTIN/UIN Same as Company GSTIN/UIN

  • Upload transactions even when party GSTIN/UIN matches the company GSTIN/UIN.

  • Accept such transactions from Uncertain Transactions and proceed with upload.

Accept As Is for Blank HSN/SAC

  • Accept transactions without HSN/SAC details when turnover is below ₹5 crore.

  • Mark such transactions as valid directly from Uncertain Transactions.

JSON Export for GSTR-3B

  • Export GSTR-3B JSON with details of all sections and transactions.

  • Even zero-value sections are included, allowing easier updates on the GST portal.

Release 3.0

TallyPrime Release 3.0 introduces enhanced GST capabilities, improved data analysis with report filters, and a new Payment Request feature to help businesses manage payments efficiently. The release also improves data management activities such as migration, repair, and reconciliation, while updating the Income Tax Computation report with the latest slab rates as per Finance Budget 2023–24.

  • Enables section-wise JSON export of GSTR-1 for businesses under the QRMP scheme.

  • Allows upload of B2B invoices and Credit/Debit Notes (Registered) using Invoice Furnishing Facility (IFF) for the first two months of a quarter.

Oman VAT Support

  • Supports VAT implementation for Oman effective from 16-April-2021.

Release 1.1.2

TallyPrime Release 1.1.2 focuses on fixing issues and improving compliance. It resolves the QR code issue in e-Invoices after company data split and adds support for the latest Kenya VAT e-return requirements.
