Payroll Voucher Types in TallyPrime
TallyPrime Payroll provides you with Payroll, Attendance, and Payment Voucher Types.
You can define a template called Voucher Class to automate and control usage of ledger accounts and computed values to be posted. It is a powerful and configurable option that enables you to define the rules of voucher entry for a particular voucher type. It also helps in speeding up the process and minimizes data entry for posting a voucher. However, creating a voucher class is not mandatory.
- Gateway of Tally > Alter > Payroll Voucher Type >select the required Voucher Type.
Alternatively, Alt+G (Go To) > Alter Master > Voucher Type > select the required Voucher Type. - The List of Voucher Types appears, enabling you to choose the required voucher type. You can alter the same to create the voucher class as per your requirement.
You can press Enter on the required voucher types in the List of Voucher Types to create a new Voucher Class.
