To use the plug-in, you need:
- TallyPrime Release 7.1 or later
- An active TSS subscription
No. Customers using TallyPrime 7.1 or later with an active TSS can enable and use the plug-in without any additional charge.

No. The plug-in automatically performs the required preprocessing and imports. You just need to select the right details on the import screen. (link to transaction import) into TallyPrime.
Yes.
- Required ledgers, stock items, and voucher types are available.
- Amazon data files are available in .xls(x) format
- Mapping templates are configured as required.
If a required master is not available, the transaction will appear in Exceptions Report and can be resolved by creating the required master.
Yes. The plug-in works on top of the existing Excel Import framework in TallyPrime and uses mapping templates similar to those used in regular Excel Import.
No. Enabling the plug-in does not modify your existing data or configurations. However, if you have customizations related to Amazon transaction imports, you may evaluate whether they lead to creation of duplicate transactions.
The plug-in enables businesses to import Amazon Shipments, Refunds, Settlements, TDS, and TCS data directly into TallyPrime using the familiar Excel Import framework, reducing manual effort and dependency on manual data preparation.
Yes. The Sample Ledgers file can be updated to use your existing ledgers.
Yes but not recommended. The templates provided with the plug-in can be modified based on your business requirements, similar to any other Excel Import mapping template.
We recommend using common ledgers but not rate wise or region wise ledgers.
Amazon B2B files may contain transactions for multiple buyers. The plug-in can import these transactions using a common Amazon party ledger. Same buyer may not buy again and you will end up having thousands of ledgers over a period.
Yes. Amazon files containing transactions for multiple GST registrations can be imported into a Multi-GSTIN company.
Yes. The plug-in supports invoices containing both single and multiple stock items.
No. Shipment and Refund transactions need to be imported separately using the relevant mapping templates provided with the plug-in.
No. TDS and TCS values are derived directly from the Amazon Settlements dataand imported into TallyPrime.
The plug-in currently supports imports without bill-wise tracking by default. Amazon sales data never matches with settlements and hence you will end up having thousands of small outstandings which will never close.
Currently, the plug-in supports Amazon data import. Support for additional marketplaces may be considered in future releases.
No. Enabling the plug-in does not modify existing masters, vouchers, or company data. Transactions are created only when you perform an import.
The Amazon Data Import Plug-in is supported from TallyPrime Release 7.1 onwards.
Monthly commission/fee invoice is received in PDF format and can’t be imported using the plug-in. You need to create a commission ledger (indirect expenses) and create a purchase voucher for the same manually.
