Invalid From Pincode or To Pincode

Cause

This error occurs if the Pincode of either Company or any Party ledger is wrong.

Resolution

Step 1: Check the correct Pincode on the portal.

1. Select the State Name.
2. Provide Captcha and click Go to get the list of Pincodes.

Step 2: Update the valid Pincodes in the Company and Party ledger, as needed.

Scenario 1: Update the Pincode in the Company

1. Press Alt+K (Company) > Alter.
2. Enter the valid Pincode and press Ctrl+A to save.

Scenario 2: Update the Pincode in the Party

1. Press Alt+G (Go To) > Alter Master > Ledger.
2. Select the required ledger and press Enter.
3. In the Ledger Alteration screen, enter the valid Pincode and press Ctrl+A to save.

While generating an invoice, ensure that the Pincodes for Buyer (Bill to) and Consignee (Ship to) in the Party Details screen are correct.
