Unable to proceed as TallyVault password is required.
Cause: This error appears because Tally Scheduler requires the TallyVault password of the company to run scheduled backups. It usually occurs if the system is restarted or the Tally Scheduler service is restarted.
It can occur while performing actions such as such as Alter, Delete, Enter, or Backup Now on the task.
Resolution:
- Press Alt+F3 (Select Company).
- Select the vaulted company and enter the TallyVault Password.
- Once authenticated, the task will move out of Action Required and reappear in the list of scheduled backups.
