Using Function Browser
With the use of the function browser, the developer can refer to the Platform Functions instantly. The complete list of functions is available in TallyPrime Developer.
Using Property Window
The Property window is below the Function browser window. It displays the details of each function listed in TallyPrime Developer.
If the function name is selected in Function browser, the Property window displays the details like Total Parameters, Total Mandatory Parameters, Category, Execution Mode, Return Type, Parameter Type and Data Type.
In the Property window, there is a description window that displays the usage and the functionality of each function listed in the Function browser.
Function Browser Views
The function browser can be viewed as Alphabetically/Category-wise. By default, the Functions are listed Category-wise.
Alphabetical View
To view the list of functions alphabetically
- Go to Tools > Preferences.
- Select the Explorer Options Tab.
- Clear the option Category-wise view in Function browser.
The Function browser now displays the list of functions in Alphabetical order.
