The selected Company (<Folder_number>) is currently undergoing migration in another instance of TallyPrime.

Cause: This error occurs when you try to open a Company with Migration in Progress status.

Resolution: Wait for migration to finish.

If you have enabled the option Allow working on data during migration, you can continue working on the previous compatible version when the migration is in progress.

If you have not enabled the option, you can handle this situation in either of the following ways:

Scenario 1:

  1. Press Esc to stop the migration process.
  2. Open the data in the previous compatible version, continue working and save your data.
    In the Select Company screen, you will see your Company with Continue Migration status.
  3. Press Enter and select Yes to continue migration from the point you had stopped.

Scenario 2:

  1. Press Esc to stop the migration process.
  2. In the Select Company screen, press Alt+Y (Data) > Configuration > Allow working on data during migration: Yes.
  3. Select your Company with Continue Migration status, press Enter and select Yes to continue migration from the point you had stopped.
