TDL Enhancements

Release 5.0 is packed with new TDL capabilities that benefit developers by allowing them to customize its features. Moreover, the capabilities Progress Bar and Stripe View significantly improve the user experience.

Progress Bar

Release 5.0 introduces a wealth of new TDL capabilities, empowering developers to customize its features extensively. The new Progress Bar UI significantly enhances user comprehension of each step involved in filing GST returns. This functionality can also be utilized in customizations to provide better clarity on multi-step processes. To know more about this enhancement, click here.

Stripe View

With the Stripe View capability in TallyPrime, you can now view data in reports and vouchers with stripes. Using stripes in reports and vouchers helps you to view data in each row distinctly, enhancing the overall readability. To know more about this enhancement, click here.

Data Source XML and JSON String

Currently, due to the TDL environment’s limitation of not supporting direct XML utilization, XML data must be written to a file, and a collection is created to extract the necessary information. To streamline this process, we are introducing a new data source feature that allows direct utilization of XML and JSON structures by passing them as parameters. This enhancement eliminates the need for intermediary file handling steps, improving efficiency and simplifying data processing workflows. To know more about this enhancement, click here.
