Creating Output Service Tax Ledger

To create an Output Service Tax ledger:

Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Ledgers > Create

1. Enter the Name of the ledger.

2. Select Duties & Taxes in the field Under.

3. Select the Type of Duty/Tax from the Types of Duty/Tax list.

4. Select the Category Name from the List of Service Categories.

5. Set Inventory values are affected to No.

6. Press Enter to accept and save.

Creating Input Service Tax Ledger

To create an Input Service Tax ledger:

Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Ledgers > Create

1. Enter the Name of the ledger.

2. Select Duties & Taxes in the field Under.

3. Select the Type of Duty/Tax from the Types of Duty/Tax list.

4. Select the Category Name from the List of Service Categories.

5. Set Inventory values are affected to No.

6. Press Enter to accept and save.
