Changing the Stock Value of Finished Goods and Raw Material in Manufacturing Unit

You can change the Stock Value of Finished Goods and Raw Material in Manufacturing Unit in Tally.ERP 9.

To view the stock values of finished goods and raw material (not based on inventory values available in Tally.ERP 9)

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > F2: Inventory .

2. Set Integrate accounts and inventory to No .

3. Press Ctrl+A to accept.

To create stock ledgers

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Ledger > Create .

2. Create two ledgers (say, Finished Goods and Raw Materials under Stock in hand ).

3. Press Ctrl+A to accept.

To alter stock ledgers

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Ledger > Alter .

2. Select the ledger for which opening and closing balance has to be entered. The Ledger Alteration screen appears.

3. Enter the stock values in Opening Balance / Closing Balance fields.

4. Press Ctrl+A to accept.

To view the stock values

● Go to Gateway of Tally > Profit & Loss A/c and verify the stock values.

Note: To view the previous values, Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > F2: Inventory . Set Integrate accounts and inventory to Yes .
