Resolving the Exception Abatement Notification Number and Notification Serial Number Not Found

When you record a service tax transaction with abatement, and the abatement notification details are not set in the masters, then this transaction will be in the uncertain transaction. This exception has to be resolved for this transaction to be considered for the calculation of the returns.

To resolve the exception Abatement Notification number and notification serial number not found

1. Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > Service Tax Reports .

2. Drill-down to the vouchers where abatement has been applied but abatement notification number and serial number has not been specified.

3. Select the vouchers and click S : Set notification No .

4. Enter the abatement Notification No. and Sl .No. as shown below:

5. Press Ctrl + A to accept.
